1）適用的焊接或切割方法這對于弧焊機器人特別重要。這實質(zhì)上反映了機器人控制和驅(qū)動系統(tǒng)的抗干擾能力。目前，一般的弧焊機器人只使用MIG焊接方法，因為這些焊接方法不需要使用高頻電弧點火，焊接機器人的控制和驅(qū)動系統(tǒng)沒有特殊的抗干擾措施，可以使用鎢極氬弧焊焊接。該焊接機器人是近年來的新產(chǎn)品，它具有一套特殊的抗干擾措施。選擇機器人時應(yīng)注意這一點。

2）擺動功能這對于弧焊機器人非常重要，它與弧焊機器人的工藝性能有關(guān)。目前，電弧焊機器人的擺動功能已經(jīng)非常不同。有些機器人只有幾種固定的擺動模式，有些機器人只能在平面上任意設(shè)置擺動模式和參數(shù)。選擇是能夠在空間（xy，z）中移動。在該范圍內(nèi)任意設(shè)置擺動模式和參數(shù)。

4）焊接過程故障的自檢和自處理功能。這是指焊接過程中常見的故障，例如電弧焊的粘絲，斷絲，點焊的粘焊條等。這些故障發(fā)生后，如果不及時采取措施，將會造成機器人損壞等重大事故。或出現(xiàn)報廢零件。因此，焊接機器人須具有檢測此類故障并自動實時停止和報警的功能。

4) Self check and self-treatment function of welding process fault. This refers to the common faults in the welding process, such as wire sticking, broken wire in arc welding, welding rod sticking in spot welding, etc. After these failures occur, if no timely measures are taken, it will cause serious accidents such as robot damage. Or there are scrapped parts. Therefore, the welding robot must have the function of detecting such faults and automatically stopping and alarming in real time.
